What We Offer
We offer a range of services, with the core purpose of providing access to yoga for women impacted by gender-based violence and marginalisation.
Have something else in mind? We'd be happy to work with you to create a custom service:
-
At the heart of our work is holding space.
We run specialised survivor-centred yoga courses for women and non-binary people who have experienced domestic abuse and gender-related harm.
Our classes are held in community spaces and we also collaborate with charities and local services to offer classes and workshops as part of their service-user support.
Our classes are also suitable for people who are on waiting lists for services or for those that no longer receive specialised support but still wish to attend a class that feels respectful of their lived experience.
Please check the Timetable for all our current events.

Sevā - ‘Selfless Service’
Sevā (सेवा) is a Sanskrit term meaning ‘selfless service’. Our Sevā Classes are for the public and we welcome all movers and practitioners to join.
We consider this a profit-for-purpose endeavour. All profits raised go directly back into our Community Yoga Programme so communities that need wellbeing practices can access them without financial constraint.
Please check the Events page for upcoming classes.

We work with and for the community.
We collaborate with community organisations and local services to deliver trauma-informed classes as an adjunct to therapeutic support or as a holding space while people are waiting to access services.
We’re proud to have worked with established organisations in London and have a continued relationship with North London Rape Crisis.
If you are a programme coordinator for a charity or non-profit that supports people impacted by domestic abuse or gender-related harm, please get in touch.

We support yoga teachers, people facilitating wellness spaces and support workers in caring professions.
We offer resources such as Yoga Assist Tokens and training to yoga teachers, yoga studios and yoga teacher-training courses on how to integrate a trauma-aware ethos into general yoga classes.
We also offer trainings to people in helping professions such as counsellors, therapists, teachers or clinical staff on how to integrate yoga and body-based practices in the support toolbox.
Find out about our upcoming educational events here or get in touch if you’d like to organise a training event.
